Z to A in 26 Days – Nov 5th – V is for Venue

Express Avenue, a place where one can spend hours with their lovable ones and today I am lucky enough to spend with Isha, my girl, my life too.

“What is the plan for the day?” she asked me very cutely. “You can expect some surprises,” I said and smiled. “Is it… I love surprises”, she exclaimed. I never expected her to react like that and never imagined too but those sweet memories are best to cherish in future.

“Wow! Ice creams Ice creams! Dear, buy me a Chocó-bar, I just love it,” once again she exclaimed, “Sure I buy you one,” I said and bought one for her and for me. She ate like a kid spreading the creams on nose; cheeks etc., and yes even on her dress and ate like a kid, a mischievous kid she should be. “You know what?” she gestured asking what, “You are super idiot,” gestured a thanks and asked for one more ice creams. I bought one and started enjoying her feast and thanked God for blessing me a life, I mean wife of my type.

We took the escalator to move to first floor, walked to the back door, got down, and went inside Mega Mart. She is a very colourful girl, the colour she chose, the variety, the tradition dresses, wow they are the best to be worn by any girl.
A fact says, “When you go for a shopping with your girl never ever wear your watch” she proved that and I must say I must be a saint to have patience for the dresses she selected.

“Hey the colour you chose was cool… Shall we move out”, I said, “of course we can move to bangles section,” she said, took me to bangles section then to slippers and even to that section. Girls have many varieties, colours and more to wear and she is not an exception to say no to those culture. Actually, it is a tough task for a guy to spend time for these silly things with a girl but not for me as I already experienced these with Riti, the stupid girl.

My phone saved me as my mom called me to enquire how was the day and eagerly waited for the answers, “fantastic mom”, I said and also about her daughter-in-law. She reminded me to have my lunch come breakfast and I responded her big yes and ended the call with sweet wishes.

“Why don’t we eat now?” I said, “Sure dear,” “How about KFC?” I said. “Cool! KFC chicken are the best one to taste,” she exclaimed and took me to KFC.

“I will pay for us, done, no more question,” she said, “I must say that you are the eighth wonder of the world, a girl saying that I will pay, wow,” I said, “Hello! Please don’t insult girls,” she said and bought the KFC bucket chicken and meal. We sat on a corner table, started to eat. “Wow! Delicious!” she exclaimed, took a leg piece, tore the chicken leg with the teeth, and had a divine treat.

“Enough? You are a nice guy,” she said, tapping my hand. I liked the tap.

“What’s made me nice?” I said, “The way you handled me, i.e. how you behave with the girls, I am lucky to get you,” she said and extended the tap to my cheeks, I now liked it more.

“Am I looking good,” she said blushing, “of course you are”, she smiled, “Guess, how many would have proposed me?” I smiled, “It should be 50 I guess,” I said. “Wow! You got it right,” she said, “Cool!” and thanked God and Riti, because she told me that number recently. May be God knows how it matched, “I have to say you are a super cute girl,” I said, she blushed for the third time completing the bucket.

“I want to buy a shirt for my fiancée,” she said, “Oh who is that poor fellow,” I laughed, as she pointed out me with a funny face, I don’t have words to depict those sweet reactions. We went inside the shop, Peter England, “Hey, will this suit you,” a sea blue coloured stripes shirt, I smiled, gestured, ‘it is your wish’, “Sir, bill this please,” she ordered the shopkeeper and paid the bill.

“Dear, this is my special gift, do wear it on our second night,” she said blushing. “Usually I will be romantic when I pen down my thoughts but you are really romantic and you are my perfect match,” I said blushing for the first time in my lifetime, not exactly but I couldn’t have proper eye contact with that sweet idiot after hearing those romantic words. “Hmm, you do blog, cool. Even I love to but never had a chance to do that,” she said, “Not a big deal, start your blogging career with a post in my blog,” I said, took her hand, and kissed her, wow what a moment was that, of course my first kiss.

She started walking closer than I expected, frankly, her everything was touching me, and of course, I liked it a lot. We visited almost all the shops and at last stopped at a bangle shop, bought her a set of bangles, and I, myself put that in her hands, she blushed as if she never blushed before. “I have to say girls eyes speak a lot aren’t they?” I said and she blushed even for that. I booked a cab for her as we left the mall with a newly blossomed love between us.

“I love this day, ice creams, chicken, bangles and even the sweet kiss,” I read this message as my mobile beeped on my way to home. “This is a special day as I was booked for my second night, also for all we did. I will call you by ten, love you dear”, I replied after reaching my home, took a nap dreaming about my sweet girl.
