Z to A in 26 Days – Nov 3rd – X is for Xenops

It hurts when someone say that you are forgetting them since you are committed or you got someone else to forget me. I was never in this situation before as she has the highest priority in my life, even more than my parents do, and I always have loads and loads of affection on her. That’s the reason I couldn’t digest the way she spoke, so was waiting for her response, I couldn’t sleep or she didn’t pick the call after that. If it is someone else I would have took it easily but it is Riti, best friend for my life. We have many things in common, right from the birthday, birth stars, schooling, ranks, marks, college, grades etc., in simple words we differ just by sex, an ideal match for me. Even when all this matches, I never took thought of proposing her, reason I never know that. How she became close to me? I can’t say how but one of the reason could be I spent more time with her as she lived in my home. Yes, Riti, she lost her parents at the age of five, stayed in our home until her under graduation and now she is doing her masters in US. According to me, she is a Xenops, a genius bird who love to fly until last breath, loves to explore this entire world. She is not that easygoing girl and it take time to convince her and this was one such day as it took eighty-three missed calls to connect her.

“Hey I am little busy” said she, I reacted a little, sounding sadly, “But I didn’t call to hear this from you”, I pressed more to make her stay on the line, “Yup, tell me what for you called me?” said she angrily. I paused for some time to show that am upset for what she did. “It is time for you to sleep, why don’t you sleep now,” said she, I just wanted to hear your voice for few hours that is the reason for me to call you even at this time. As soon as I said this I heard, she sobbing and saying sorry some numerous times. I tried stopping but she didn’t or I couldn’t. “I couldn’t give up you dear for anyone, hope you understand,” said she, I convinced her stating that she will be my first priority until my last breath and heard she smiling, “I want to live you dear though I am at United States physically I live with you in my dreams, I love you so much dear” said she. I could never differentiate the words “I love you”, is that love? On the other hand, is that the true friendship? God only knows the answer; I smiled a little. “So how is Isha? Is she that beautiful?” said she, I said yeah she was cute but she did steal my heart as you did right from the first sight. “Of course she should be your better half and am happy to know that you got a good girl,” said she, I smiled, enquired about her life in US and her plans for the future. “I am enjoying here although you are missed here but still I spend my life happily dear,” said she, I smiled, conveyed that I could find how I much she miss me in those lines. I heard her smiling and we hung the call after our sweet wishes.

I fell asleep as I was very tired, didn’t even notice the call from Isha and a message stating, “I need to talk with you as it is emergency”
