I was about to sleep suddenly I received a call from Riti, “Hey dear have you slept”, said she, I smiled, started the conversation to soothe her. She felt sorry for that but still I couldn’t find any hurt because of that. As usual, she went on talking about things that happened in our life, our friendship, our college life, etc. It was difficult to handle her emotions when she is in complete flow and today was one of those days. I tried to push her back to normal state but couldn’t control so shouted a little to stop her Ramayana that made her upset and hung the call once again for the day.

I messaged her as, “Idiot you are the best girl I had ever met in my life though we are separated by distance yet we are united by friendship”. In seconds, my mobile beep was heard with a message, “I hope still we are friends” that added more fuel and made me message again, “Though you are at yonder, yet you are very special in my heart”.
